As we cruise along this winding road towards a cure, I continue to be amazed at what inspires people to join Bike MS.
This week, I’m happy to share the story of Chris Pero. If you watched our Saturday Night Spectacular Show at Bike MS, you’ll remember Chris’s comment about “The Peanut Butter Factor” (and if not, read on!).
These are the kinds of stories that reinforce why I work for the Society, and further inspire me to coach people how to fundraise so we can crush MS forever.
All this and more in this week’s Pedal News:

CHRIS P’S BIKE MS STORY: SPEED BUMPS
When you live with MS, sharing your experience publicly can be a challenge. It also can be an inspiration to others to join the fight. Learn how Chris powered through her diagnosis and a layoff, and how Bike MS empowered her to change gears.
FUNDRAISING TIP OF THE WEEK: DOUBLE YOUR DOLLARS WITH MATCHING GIFTS
Many companies – including those your donors work for – have matching gift programs to maximize their financial contributions to non-profit organizations. This means they will match their employees’ donations to the National MS Society, increasing your fundraising total and bringing us closer to a world free of MS.
Take advantage of this incredible resource and encourage your donors to do the same!
Teams: If you’re not currently in the top 20 list, please email Amy for your current ranking. Is your team fundraising between $6-8k? Email Amy for a special offer just for you!
Thanks for helping us roll towards a world free of MS.
PS. Did you know… once your team reaches $10,000 in fundraising, you’ll get your very own team tent at Bike MS 2017? It’s a great way to keep cool in the summer heat. See what other goodies you and your team can earn.
